• What is Bespoke Restoration?

    A bespoke restoration is for parts that need to be manufactured by the watchmaker as they are obsolete and no longer available for purchase. This is normally only necessary for vintage and antique pieces.

  • What does Full Service include?

    Full service includes full dis-assembling of the case and movement, cleaning all components, reassembly, oiling, regulating, adjustments and quality control. 

  • How long does full service take?

    The main servicing of a watch will normally take a total of 2-5 weeks to complete. This includes testing your watch to ensure the quality of the service, this will take 5 to 10 working days depending on the watch and any time requirements to order parts from Switzerland.

  • How much does it cost to repair my watch?

    We aim to provide cost-effective prices. With our small team, we can keep prices low and maintain higher quality standards than larger competitors.

  • How often should my watch be serviced?

    We recommend servicing your watch every 2-3 years. This is when the oil in your watch will start to dry. Once the oil has dries parts will wear down and may need replacing.

  • How do I know if my watch needs servicing?

    You will know if your watch needs servicing if you notice a change in time keeping, normally the watch will start loosing time or the power will run out quicker than expected. You may also notice a difficulty using the watch, crowns and pusher may become stiff. It is advised not to try and force anything.

  • How long does restoration service take?

    The time we require for Restoration Service is longer than normal service as for some parts need to be specially made if they are no longer in production and test those parts as well.

  • Does servicing a watch decrease value?

    We will never perform a service that will decrease the value of your watch. All services are completed to the highest standard to the manufacturer's specifications.

  • Is watch servicing worth it?

    A watch service is always recommended. Whether you want to maintain a family heirloom, keep the watch functional, or sell it, a service will be beneficial.
